Dogs code of conduct
We’re very happy for dogs to join us on Saturday Runs, as long as their owners act responsibly and follow this Code of Conduct:
If you want to bring your dog on a Saturday Run, telephone the leader of the run beforehand and seek guidance as to whether the planned run is suitable for canines.
If the answer is NO, then respect the decision and leave dog behind, or do your own run elsewhere.
If the answer is YES, then respect the Saturday run leader's reputation and:
- Keep dog on lead on roads, and in any field where animals or wildlife are present, or look as though they might be present.
- Remember the Saturday run leader knows the area, and the landowners may well know him and could be awkward to him if your dog causes problems.
