MRC Clatford, Fyfield, and Manton Down
(6.4 miles)
From the Leisure Centre, via Presute Church to Manton and continue to Clatford. Straight across the crossroads, then bear right after 100m. Pass the track on the right, then follow footpath into field. Bear left, and through the gate on the other side of the field.  Follow the track for about 600m, over gate, then 60m to road. Turn right and follow road past church to the A4. Cross the A4, then straight up road for 800m. Bear left, then right, and down track to Valley of the Stones. Bear half right, then head up the hill, through two gates to reach byway. Turn right and follow to car park. Across car park, turn left then right, and follow road, turning left after 400m. Turn right just over the brow of the hill, then left onto farm road. Turn right after 300m.  At the next junction turn half right towards Manton Hollow. Turn left at the next junction and return to the Leisure Centre alongside the field. Link
MRC Out and Back
(8.9 miles)
Follow this route for as far as you can in 30 minutes. Return along the same route.
From the Leisure Centre to Bath Road. Turn left, then left at the church and along the High Street. Pass to the right of the Town Hall, and go right at the roundabout onto London Road.  Follow London Road, turning left at the next roundabout, up the hill to Chopping Knife Lane. Turn left then right and follow Chopping Knife Lane, bearing right after about 400m. Stay on Chopping Knife Lane for about another 2.5 km to Stitchcombe, where the main road turn left. Go straight on at this point along the even more minor road, which turns left down the hill, then right along the valley. After 500m continue staright on, Turn around after another 1km where the road ends.

MRC Lockeridge and West Overton

From the Leisure Centre to Bath Road. Turn right, and follow the main road to the second traffic lights just before Manton. Cross road, and take the footpath to Bridge St. Turn left, and follow to right bend into High St. Follow this road through Manton, past Clatford, to the crossroads in Lockeridge. Turn right, then next left and follow towards West Overton. After 0.8 miles, turn right down Church Hill. Turn left at the bottom.  At T-junction turn right, then left at the next junction to return to Lockeridge. Retrace the route through Lockeridge to Manton.  At the bend, turn right along Preshute Lane. Turn left at the end, and return to the Leisure Centre passing Preshute Church. Link
MRC Savernake and Stitchcombe
(8.3 miles)
Leisure Centre, Pewsey Road, left and across George Lane, and half right up the path to Ducks Meadow. Half right up the path to cross Orchard Road. Continue in the same direction, crossing Upper Churchfields and along footpath. Left at the end, and along road Salisbury Road. Half left across main road, then right and up track, entering woods at the top of the hill. Across picnic area to reach gravel road (Long Harry). Left, and follow to end of Long Harry at Grand Avenue. Turn right, and along Grand Avenue for 0.7 mile. At Eight Walks, turn 90degrees left, and along Sawpit Drive for 0.4 mile. Turn left, and follow road to reach the A4. Cross road, turn right, then immediately left.  Follow the road for 0.8 mile to sharp right-hand bend. Take track on the left. Along track, bearing onto path on the right, where main track bears left. Follow the path along the top of the valley side, eventually reaching Chopping Knife Lane. Turn left. Return to Leisure Centre via The Parade and the High Street. (Various short-cuts are available once in the Forest, saving 1 - 2.5 miles)  Link
MRC Savernake and London Road

MRC Railway Path, Pig Farm and Mildenhall

Leisure Centre, Marlborough High Street, Poulton Hill, Railway Path to Ogbourne Maizey. Turn right to Pig Farm. Along Greenway Road to Mildenhall, then back Mildenhall churchyard to pick up the riverside track to Marlborough.  Link
MRC River and Chopping Knife

Leisure Centre, Marlborough High Street, Poulton Hill. Cross river, then right through gate and along riverside path to Mildenhall, crossing the Railway Path. Continue through the churchyard to road. Turn left, left again at the Axford road, then sharp right. Sharp right to cross Axford road at Stitchcombe. Return along Chopping Knife Lane, London Road, and George Lane.  Link
MRC Pig Farm clockwise

Leisure Centre, Marlborough High Street, to the left of the Town Hall, then along the footpath past St Mary's. Cross the main road, and follow St Martins and Poulton Hill. After crossing the Og, turn left, and follow the road for 1.7 miles.  Turn sharp right past the farm buildings, then continue for 1.2 miles. At the bottom of the hill, turn left, then right after 100m along Werg, which becomes Cock-A-Troop Lane.  Athe the T-junction, turn right, and follow Chopping Knife Lane to London Road. Turn right, and follow London Road. At the fist roundabout turn right. At the next, turn half left into New Road which leads back to the High Street. Return to the Leisure Centre past St Peter's Church.   Link
MRC Pig Farm anticlockwise

Leisure Centre, Marlborough High Street, then turn right at the roundabout onto London Road. Continue to Chopping Knife Lane.  Follow Chopping Knife Lane, bearing right after 0.2 miles. Continue for another 0.7 miles, and turn left down Cock-A-Troop Lane, which becomes Werg. At the Minal-Axford road, turn left, then right after 100m up Greenway Road.  After 1.2 miles, turn sharp left. Continue for 1.7 miles. At T-junction, turn right and follow Poulton Hill, then St Martins, to The Green. Cross the main road, and take the path across The Green, past the church, to Kingsbury Street. Cross, and join the High Street, returning to the Leisure Centre past St Peter's Church. Link

MRC Old Eagle & Ogbourne Maizey circuit

Out of the back of the Leisure Centre, then around the playing fields (keeping to the edge) to Frees Avenue. Turn left, then stay off-road down to Old Eagle. Up the track opposite. At the top, turn right across the gallops, then left. Turn right on the bridleway down to Ogbourne Maizey. Cross the A346, then return along the railway path, Poulton Hill, and the high Street. (Can be shortened by taking the road route from Old Eagle to Ogbourne, or lengthened by heading down to Ogbourne St Andrew from the gallops, reaching Ogbourne Maizey across the fields parallel with the A346.) MRC Chopping Knife Lane/Stitchcombe Circuit
(7.7 miles)
Leisure Centre, High Street, London Road, to Chopping Knife Lane. Follow Chopping Knife for 2miles, then turn left down hill. After 0.3 miles cross the Axford road, and follow the road opposite for 0.6 miles. Turn sharp left, and follow the road to Minal. Turn left, cross the road, turn right, and follow the road over the river, the up to Chopping Knife Lane. Turn right, and return via London Road and the High Street. Link
MRC Road 10k Starting at the eastern end of Preshute Lane, run through Manton and Clatford to Lockeridge. Turn sharp right at the green, then left after 280m towards West Overton.  Continue for just under 1km, turning around by the large barm on the right. Return by retracing the same route. Link
MRC Polissoir
(9.2 miles)
Out of the back of the Leisure Centre, then along the path that goes along the back of Barton Park. Turn right, and follow the path to the farm road. Left, then right at the t-junction and follow the road to the car park. Follow the byway to the Reservoir. Turn left, then through the next gate on the right. Head towards Totterdown Wood, bearing left before reaching it. Keep going in the same direction, starting with the wood to your right, then following the faint track. At the bottom of the hill, continue up the hill. The Polissoir is on your left. Continue up to the Ridgeway, Turn left, then half left over the next stile. Continue keeping the gallops to your left. Cross the gallops, and turn right along the top of the valley. Bear left along the obvious track. Staying in roughly the same direction, cross the valley bottom, and up the other  side. At the top of the hill, pass through two gates, then turn right along the byway and follow it to the car park. Return the the Leisure Centre along the route taken at the start. Link
MRC Reservoir Anticlockwise

Out of the back of the Leisure Centre, and run to the start of the gallops via the outside of the College playing fields and Frees Avenue Follow the Herepath for 2.3 miles. At the Reservoir, just before the top of the hill, turn left, and follow the byway, bearing right where it forks after a mile, to reach. the car park. Across the car park, turn left, then right at the road. Follow the road, bearing right after 0.2 miles.  If it's a dark evening, follow the road down the hill and back to the Leisure Centre.  Alternatively, after the brow of the hill, turn left through the farm road entrance. After 100m turn right, and follow track across field. At junction, turn right towards Manton Hollow. At next junction turn left along track beside field, down hill, up hill, and finally down to road. Turn right to return to Leisure Centre. Link
MRC West Woods
(7.8 miles)
From the Leisure Centre, cross the A4 and past Preshute Church. Up the track to the right of the tennis courts. On reaching the top of the ridge, turn right. Cross Manton Drove (left then right), then follow the footpath to Clatford Bottom and the main West Woods entrance. Up the main forest road. Turn left after 250m along track. then sharp right after 250m. Take next left, and run beside the Wansdyke for 750m. Turn left, then right, and follow the Wansdyke for another 450m. Bear right, and follow the wide path to the bottom of the valley. Turn right, and follow main track for 1.6km. turn left up forest road to reach small car park. Turn right, and follow farm road to Lockeridge. Turn right, and return along roads via Clatford, Manton, and Preshute Lane, then back to Leisure Centre through Preshute churchyard. Link
MRC Valley of the Stones
(8.5 miles)
Out of the back of the Leisure Centre, then along the path that goes along the back of Barton Park. Turn right, and follow the path to the farm road. Left, then right at the t-junction and follow the road to the car park. Head towards the Reservoir, turning left after 650m through new bridle gate. Through second bridle gate, and follow the track down into the valley. Bear right, cross the valley, and follow the track with the valley bottom to your right. Run alongside the gallops to the Herepath. Turn right, and follow the Herepath down then up, eventually reaching the Reservoir. Turn right, and along the byway to the car park. Return via Manton Hollow and through Barton Park. Link
MRC Zero Run
(7.1 miles plus warm-up)
Out of the back of the Leisure Centre, and jog to the start of the gallops via the outside of the College playing fields and Frees Avenue (1.35miles). The Zero Run starts at the beginnig of the gallops. Follow the Herepath for 3 miles, passing the Reservoir, and Delling Copse on the right. At the top of the hill, turn left, and follow the path above the Valley of the Stones, for a mile. Cross the vally floor, and climb the hill opposite. Turn right after the gate at the top, and along the byway to the car park. Return via Manton Hollow and through Barton Park. (The alternative route, turning left at the Reservoir, is 1.7 miles shorter.) Link
