Club information

Marlborough Running Club is based in the picturesque town of Marlborough, Wiltshire, set in the heart of the beautiful North Wessex Downs. Our interests cover road, trail and cross-country running as well as entering various races throughout the year as part of the club championship.
The feature which binds us together is our enjoyment of running the downland and forest trails that abound in this part of England. Our many training routes cover the area around Marlborough; the Marlborough Downs, Savernake forest, the Ridgeway and further afield on Saturday runs.

The Club was founded in 1988, and currently has some 90 members. We meet to train three times a week.  Monday and Wednesday evenings are our most popular sessions, with typically 20 members running from 5-10 miles in different speed groups.
